Southampton 2, Cardiff City 2
(Wednesday 14 March 2007)
Cardiff City showed in Hampshire last night their
promotion bid is the real deal. It's not the quality
of City's performance at St Mary's which prompts me
to say that because during the first half in
particular they were desperately poor. |

firmly back into the play-off mix. |

cursing his luck after Cardiff City had conceded
precious ground in the promotion race. |

(Saturday 03 February 2007)
Whisper it, just whisper it, but Cardiff City are
very much back in the Championship promotion
shake-up.
A third win on the bounce for Dave Jones and his
men, which might not have been sparkling but was too
much for a Barnsley side that kept the ball but
rarely looked like shaking City's grip on the game. |

A relentless display
